Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington (POB), in recognition of Older Americans Month, is proud to partner with the Bender Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington, Montgomery County Department of Aging, Beacon Newspapers and the Leisure World Lions Club to present a lecture: To Drive or Not to Drive – Keeping Your Keys!

We are honored to have two guest speakers. The first is Suleiman Alibhai, OD, FAAO, Director of Low Vision Services of POB. The second is Timothy Jones, Occupational Therapist, Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist at Rehabilitation of Frederick. Dr. Alibhai and Mr. Jones will discuss the effects of aging eyes on our ability to drive safely and options for keeping your keys.

The event will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Johns Hopkins University, Montgomery County Campus, Gilchrist Hall, 9601 Medical Center Drive, Rockville, MD. Free parking is available at the A&R Building.
